Here at The Bridge Church we celebrate Parent Dedication rather than Baby Dedication. We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord and it is a parent’s responsibility to dedicate themselves to the Lord in order to “Train a child in the way he should go,” as Proverbs 22:6 states. Therefore, the primary covenant being established in Parent Dedication is between the parents and God; a promise to raise up their child in the knowledge of God/Christ and to model for their child a Christ-centered lifestyle.
As your church we are also committing to partner with you in this effort by providing opportunities and training for you and your children to grow in your relationship with Christ. We take this ceremony and this commitment very seriously.
